PHOTOS: Salt Rock stream bursts its banks

The library and municipal offices have been cut off by the water.

Access to Salt Rock Library and the municipal offices in Garden Road were cut off this afternoon after the steam running past the buildings turned into a raging torrent.

Luckily for the municipal employees the office was closed early this afternoon, shortly before the stream overflowed onto the road, due to the electricity outage that affected much of Salt Rock.
