More flooding may occur between King Shaka International Airport and Umkomaas tonight as a passing storm is expected to bring heavy rain until about 7.30pm.
“The ground is wet and drainage systems are under pressure so more flooding is a definite possibillity,” said the South African Weather Service’s Aslam Sardiwalla.
Light rain may persist until 11pm as the storm passes.
