Taxi hits Zinkwazi bridge killing two

One of the people killed was a three year old girl.

A taxi loaded with 16 passengers lost control on the N2 at Zikwazi Bridge today, killing two passengers and injuring four others.

One of the deceased was a three year old girl.

The taxi rolled and hit the concrete pillares of the bridge, crumpling the wreckage.

IPSS Medical Rescue’s Dylan Meyrick said the four injured are in a critical condition

“The injured passengers have been taken to different hospitals.

“The taxi was travelling from Durban to Eshowe,” said Meyrick.
