Ballito bridge accident results in massive traffic jam
Seven people were injured after a taxi allegedly rear-ended a light motor vehicle at the Ballito N2 bridge traffic lights during peak traffic this afternoon.
The front vehicle reportedly stopped at the traffic lights which were out of order and treated the intersection as a three-way-stop.
They were then hit by the fully loaded taxi.
Traffic was severely backed up for some time.
The scene has since been cleared.
