Appeal for help to find family

Anyone with information regarding this family may contact the Welfare Society

The Tongaat child Welfare Society is looking for the family or relatives of Thamsanqa Cele.

The 10-year-old boy was living with his mother, Zoliswa Cele, in Shakaskraal until she recently died.

He is now living with his mother’s friend Ntombikayise Zanele Mthethwa, who brought the boy to the attention of welfare.

“The friend (Mthethwa) does not know any of the family members as no one ever visited while the child’s mother was alive.

“The child is attending at Tongaat LP School. He was enrolled by the current caregiver.

“We are trying to trace his family,” said Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society social worker manager Jo Moodley.

Anyone with information regarding this family may contact the Welfare Society on 032-9441514.
