WARNING: Traffic backed up after tanker overturns on N2

The fast lane has been closed

A truck lost its trailer on the N2 north bound this morning, just before the Ballito off-ramp, resulting in the fast lane being closed.

No injuries have been reported, however according to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst it is believed that the substance leaking out onto the N2 is a highly corrosive material.

The cause of the accident is still to be confirmed. Photos: IPSS Medical Rescue.
