Two pedestrians killed in horrific N2 accident
Traffic is expected to remain backed up for the next few hours while the scene is being cleared
Paramedics arrived to a terrible scene on the N2 near Amathikulu after two pedestrians were hit just past bridge 12 this evening.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst, body parts were scattered more than 100 meters apart across the N2.
The south bound lane is closed and the north bound lane is backed up for approximately 10kms.
North bound traffic is now being diverted at the Mandeni toll
Traffic is expected to remain congested for the next few hours while the scene is being cleared.
