“Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark”

The Hirsch's business network morning received great support from local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Owner of Wedding and Function KZN magazine and a previous Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business achiever awardee, Alison Kirk, said doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark.

Kirk was a guest speaker at Hirsch’s monthly business networking morning that was recently held in Ballito.

Her talk was titled “How to have an awesome 30-second elevator pitch.”

Margie Els and Judy Sobantu.

“Marketing is the heart of every business. You could offer the best product or service, but if no one has seen or heard of it how will your sales increase? You know what you’re doing, but nobody else does,” said Kirk.

The event received great support from local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs from the North Coast and surrounding areas.
