A healing touch for Etete residents

Medical specialists made sure that Etete residents were in tip-top shape during a free medical outreach on February 24.
Hosted by the Ramakrishna Clinic of SA-Durban, residents queued at Radha Roopsingh Primary School for spectacles, medication and laboratory facilities.
Diabetes screenings and foot care education was also the order of the day.

Etete Satsang group secretary Usha Birbal said doctors attended to more than 400 patients.
“The medical outreach work of the Ramakrishna Centre has been in place for 60 years and continues to serve regardless of faith or race.
“An average of 4 000 patients are seen per year throughout KZN.”
