Strengthening relationships at Ballito Neighbourhood Watch braai
The relaxed afternoon was a more memorable one.
Members of Ballito Neighbourhood Watch (BNW) came together to strengthen neighbourhood relationships with a friendly braai in Zen Park.
By 3pm on Saturday 9 March, a meaty aroma was wafting up from the grills drawing locals together on picnic blankets and camping chairs.
BNW committee member Jenny Steffens said the relaxed afternoon was a more memorable one.
“A few residents ran a raffle and hired a jumping castle for the kids. It was a positive move towards getting the community together and getting to know each other. Together we can unify against crime and we can work together to promote safe neighbourhoods.”
