Supporting addicts on a path to wholeness

Against Drugs and Child Abuse (ADCA) hopes to raise enough money to open their doors to struggling addicts and victims of abuse full time.
The registered NPO and PBO held a fundraising event at Fairmont Zimbali Resort last Friday.
The luncheon was attended by respected business associates showing their compassion and interest for the community of Ballito, in conjunction with Rex Hunt, founder of ADCA.
“ADCA is the only non-profit organisation on the Dolphin Coast specialising in helping people with substance abuse problems and assisting them with a life recovery plan,” said Hunt.
“We would like to thank all of these individuals not only for sharing some of their valuable time with us but for their generosity and willingness to make a difference, especially Bernice for sponsoring and organising the fundraiser luncheon,” he said.

Their counsellors offer help to victims of substance and child abuse of any form.
Different seminars, group sessions and one-on-one counselling sessions are held for adults and youth to learn tools and coping measures in order to overcome addictions and escape the cycle of anxiety and failure.
One of these group sessions, Project Exodus, is held on Monday nights at 6.30pm and is structured to help addicts on the journey to recovery and wholeness.
