Drugs remain a problem for KwaDukuza, CPF vows to keep town and CBD safe
He further encouraged unity among the CPF members and reminded them that they are not police officers, but they are there to assist the police and their communities to fight crime.

Drug dealing in the KwaDukuza CBD continues to be a major concern, according to the KwaDukuza Community Policing Forum.
Speaking at the forum AGM on September 27 forum chairperson Dr Mfuneni Zungu said their main priority was to rid the CBD of drugs in the coming year.
Dr Zungu was speaking after he was re elected chairperson at the meeting held at KwaDukuza police station.

“We know that at King Shaka and Hulett streets there are buildings that are used by drug dealers and this must come to an end. The owners of those buildings must do something about this issue. We will also be on the ground patrolling the CBD. All this will be done because we want our town to be a safe town,” said Dr Zungu.

Zozi Mabaso was elected deputy chairperson, secretary Sbahle Guma and deputy Joyce Thengwayo, treasurer pastor Bala and PRO, Samson Pillay.
