Ballito Scouts’ sinister evening of fun

Children lined up at the entrance and were greeting with hot dog fingers, witches and goo, all dressed up in their scariest and hair-raising costumes for some good music, food and screams!

The Ballito Scouts put on a thoroughly surreal affair with their haunted house fundraiser at the Ballito Rotary Club hall in Townsend Park on Wednesday evening.

The parking area was jam packed as over 100 parents and kids swooped in to take part in the exciting treats, games and scary episodes walking through the dark among Halloween sculptures, frightening sights and sounds.

Scouts group leader Kim Tabori-Clark thanked the Ballito community for their continued support and said that the event was a great success.

“The turnout was fantastic, and so many people came out to take part with us,” she said, in her very apt witch cloak and hat.
