Expect major delays at Mvoti toll
The toll plaza had been without electricity since last night.

The R102 through Groutville has been dedicated as an alternative route for motorists in an effort to alleviate the major backlog in traffic at the Mvoti toll.
North Coast Courier journalist, Thrivin Naidoo was heading home last night and said that when he arrived at the Mvoti toll around 10.30pm last night, the toll had no power.
“It was pitch black, I thought it was loadshedding,” said Thrivin, who added that it took him 20 minutes to get through the toll with only one truck in front of his vehicle.
Currently, the toll plaza is still without power and efforts are underway to exchange a faulty generator.
