Answering the call of the Big Hill

To find out, put on your running shoes and prepare for the much loved Big Hill run, hosted by the Dolphin Coast Striders running club on Sunday, December 15 at Sugar Rush Park.

And with Monday being a public holiday there is no reason to avoid a few stiff muscles.

Kicking off at 6am the event caters for all fitness levels with a 21km or 10km road run or bring the whole family along for the 5km fun run which will start at 6.15am.

Entries for the 21km run is R180 per athlete, the 10km will cost R150 and the 5km is R50. Temporary licenses will also be available to purchase at registration.

All finishers will receive a medal while silver medals will be awarded to those who finish the 21km in a sub 01:30 and the 10km in a sub 00:40.

There will be plenty of food, drinks, live music and all the good vibes that the Dolphin Coast is famous for at the finish.

Late online entries can be done on www.championchip.co.za on Friday, December 13.

The Striders will be accepting late entries at registration at Ballito Lifestyle Centre on Saturday, December 14 from 9am to noon and at Sugar Rush Park from 2pm to 5pm and

Sunday, December 15 from 4.30am to 5.30am.

Race numbers and packs can be collected at registration.
