Litchis the star of makers market at Salt Rock
The Litchi Orchard's Rebecca Eb said that they were beyond excited to welcome locals and holidaymakers alike following litchis becoming available, with yield closely resembling last year's.
As with most years, litchis again stole the spotlight at The Litchi Orchard in Foxhill, Salt Rock, last Saturday.

The Litchi Orchard’s Rebecca Eb said that they were beyond excited to welcome locals and holidaymakers alike following litchis becoming available, with yield closely resembling last year’s.

Those who attended the Christmas Makers Market on Saturday said that they thoroughly enjoyed the open atmosphere and were eager to get their hands on some of the fresh fruit, leaving children with sticky fingers and lips smacking.

Other highlights outside of the makers market craft goods included gin and tonic, which was found to be the perfect accompaniment to litchis while guests got to enjoy live entertainment provided by Durban band, Generation 246.
