“We have been working with Saps for a number of years, supporting them in such projects and it is always a great honour for us to be part of such initiatives,” said Mlambo.

The school is over 50 years old with 15 classrooms and 3 of those classrooms are falling apart.

One of the school’s blocks floods during heavy rains and most of the classrooms have crumbled floors and cracking walls.

There have also been a number of burglaries due to a lack of proper fencing.

iLembe Men for Change chairperson, Sergeant Nhlaliyenza Mahlobo thanked Liberty for assisting.

The group was formed in 2004 to address matters of gender-based violence and challenges faced by men in policing.
