Business breakfast for a good cause

For business advice, networking opportunities and an all around good time, join The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund for a business breakfast on December 3.

Held at Lupa Osteria at the Lifestyle Centre, guests will be treated to speeches from two of KwaZulu-Natal’s leading business figures.

First, Bruce Rencken, the owner of Lifestyle Centre and one of Ballito’s most well respected businessmen, will speak about the changing face of retail business locally.

He will be followed by the acclaimed motivational speaker, Cindy Norcott, who will be giving a seminar on the merits of finishing the year strong in order to start the next year even stronger.

“We are very lucky to have such a good lineup on offer, it is a really good opportunity to hone your business acumen while enjoying some delicious food,” said Orphan Fund co-ordinator, Mpume Vilakazi.

Eighty tickets are available at R200 apiece, which includes breakfast. All the funds will go directly to the Orphan Fund with specific focus on their scholarship programme.

Each year, a child from an underprivileged upbringing has their school fees paid for by the Orphan Fund.

“These students are given a chance to break the poverty cycle with a chance to attend Game Changers, a small private school that provides top-level education to our children at a heavily discounted rate. We hope to fight back against poverty, one child at a time.”

In 2022, the Orphan Fund are hoping to broaden this opportunity, by schooling more children if enough funds are raised.
