Rockin’ around the 69th Christmas Country Fair
Christmas Fair Fund chairlady, Gaby Lyle, said they were astounded at the turnout - the best yet - with thousands of shoppers arriving from across the province.
The 69th Christmas Country Fair at Collisheen Estate proved to be a huge hit, with the addition of Black Friday deals and a Saturday event added to the calendar.
Usually held in October, this year’s event ran from November 25 to 27.

The Christmas Country Fair attracted significantly more stall holders, adding variety and flair.

Christmas Fair Fund chairlady, Gaby Lyle, said they were astounded at the turnout – the best yet – with thousands of shoppers arriving from across the province.

The massive support would greatly aid them in ongoing efforts of supporting community initiatives.

The fair is the main fundraiser for the Christmas Fair Fund, which supports 28 charities between the Tugela and Tongaat Rivers.

All proceeds raised go toward supporting these causes.

The non-profit organisation was started by a group of farmers’ wives in 1952 to help buy a car for a clinic sister.
