A treat for care workers
The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund organised a lunch at Concha Café for the heads of organisations supported by the Fund.
Twenty-four servants of charities and welfare organisations, who are seldom thanked for the work they do, were treated to a ‘thank you’ lunch last Friday.

“The event served to show gratitude to the people who are always concerned about the well-being of the underprivileged and who work tirelessly to take care of them,” said Orphan Fund coordinator, Mpume Vilakazi.
Skewis rallied 24 of her friends to contribute toward paying for the lunch, while sponsored gifts were also handed out.
