Hundreds flock to All Souls Anglican Church, paying their respects for iconic flower expert Rosemary Ladlau

Her daughter and organiser of the flower festival, Jane Matkovich, said around 25 floral artists, including family and friends, participated.

At least a thousand people flocked to All Souls Anglican Church in Sheffield at the weekend to pay tribute to internationally renowned flower expert, Rosemary Ladlau.

Ladlau died at her home towards the end of last year, a month before her 95th birthday.

“My mother passed away during the Covid pandemic and we could not host a funeral service then, We knew that a Flower Festival was the best way we could honour her and celebrate her life and so decided to hold,” said Matkovich.
