KwaDukuza lifeguards build marine safety brand with new uniforms

Each lifeguard received a full kit, which KwaDukuza lifeguard superintendent Bongani Xulu said would provide for all weather conditions.

With the goal of becoming more visible and promoting marine safety, KwaDukuza lifeguards have been given new uniforms.

The uniforms were unveiled and handed over to all of KwaDukuza’s 26 permanent lifeguards on Tuesday morning.

Speaking at the unveiling at Clarke Bay, KwaDukuza municipality executive head of community safety, Cecil Viramuthu, said he was proud of the lifeguards.

“We are extremely impressed with our lifeguards for their dedicated service, especially during the recently held Ballito Pro surfing competition,” he said.
