Heavenly deals at Umhlali Methodist Church carboot sale

Critical repairs are being done to the 100-year-old church building.

The Umhlali Methodist Church hosted a carboot sale at the weekend to raise funds for repairs to the historic building.

Built in 1924, the church has served as a spiritual inspiration for the North Coast community for 100 years.

Sale organiser June Haskell said the money will help complete repairs in time for the church’s anniversary service in September.

Tiffany’s Superspar and Checkers made donations to ensure the cooking team had enough ingredients for pancakes, wors rolls, egg and bacon rolls on sale on the day.
