Battle of the fittest powers up breast cancer awareness

Thirty women teams flex muscles in CrossFit challenge.

CrossFit Ballito recently hosted a Girls Gone Rx competition in which participants sweated it out in support of breast cancer survivors.

The women-only CrossFit event attracted a full roster of 90 participants, with 30 teams competing in two divisions – the Rx division for advanced athletes and the Bam division for everyday athletes.

Additional recognition was given in categories such as Best Dressed, the Community Spirit Award and even the Wooden Spoon prize for the last-place finishers, adding a fun and inclusive touch to the event.
