Support Summerhill House on World Orphans Day

The Etete home is raising funds for hearing aids and medical care.

Summerhill House in Etete is raising funds for hearing aids and medical care for needy children as part of World Orphans Day this week.

The children’s home invites the public to participate in their “Glow Yellow, Give Hope” campaign by hosting a yellow-themed day or civvies day and donating to the cause.

Summerhill House has become a pillar of support in the communities it serves.

This non-profit organisation prides itself on providing more than just a shelter for orphaned children. It creates a vibrant, family-oriented community that offers an environment where orphaned or abandoned children can grow up with the security and guidance they deserve.

Unlike traditional orphanages, Summerhill House operates as a ‘village of families’, placing each child in a family unit with a dedicated ‘mom’ and siblings.

This makes children experience the warmth and support of a family, allowing them to understand the value of stability and belonging.
