Lowdown on North Coast’s weekend entertainment

Markets, live music and a wedding expo among the many activities available.

9 January – Salt Rock Farmers Market at Claremont Farm in Sheffield Beach, every Thursday 7am-12pm.

11 – 12 January – Ballito Farmers Market, every Saturday and Sunday, 8am-3pm, includes live music, food and kids entertainment. Located on the R102 outside Umhlali towards Shakaskraal.

10, 17, 24 & 31 January – Viva L’Italia Friday Night Live at Simbithi Country Club, featuring René Tshiakanyi. Live music from 5.30pm. Contact 032 946 5403.

9 January – Sundowners on Eat Street at Lifestyle Centre with chilled vibes by DJ Darius from 4-6pm.

10 January – Catch Hale Mary on Eat Street at Lifestyle Centre from 6.30-9.30pm.

11 January – Angel at The Market at Lifestyle Centre from 12.30-3.30pm and The Black Lapels on Eat Street from 6.30-9.30pm.

12 January – Ryan Lawler at The Market from 10.30am-12.30pm and catch The Kickstands on Eat Street from 1-4pm.
