Daring guests to dream at Ordinarily Active breakfast

Speakers Cindy Norcott and Sarah Swainson shared their personal insights on how to live life well.

Inspiring messages of courage and purpose lit up The Grand Exotic last week as two dynamic speakers challenged guests to stop deferring their dreams.

Business coach and author Cindy Norcott and founder of the Ordinarily Active movement Sarah Swainson shared their insights for living life well with more than 70 guests on Friday morning.

Norcott shared her moving journey along the Camino pilgrimage, unpacking the honest, hard-earned lessons she discovered one footstep at a time.

Sarah Swainson, a local adventurer and coach, lit up the room with tales of wild places and wilder dreams, from swimming with dolphins to traversing the rugged Drakensberg. Swainson urged guests to stop deferring their dreams to “someday” and instead begin living boldly in the now.

“A bold life is not only about ticking off bucket list items,” she said.

“It is about aligning your daily life with your deepest values.”

The event was masterfully emceed by Ralph Schröder of Araujo Attorneys, the event partners, who brought not only legal expertise but also a great deal of laughter and energy to the day.
