Fashionable fun at Country Road Ballito launch

The new store marks the brand's first standalone outlet in Ballito.

Style and elegance were on full display as fashion lovers gathered in their finest outfits for the glamorous opening of the Country Road store in Ballito last Tuesday.

The new store marks the brand’s first standalone outlet in Ballito, offering a wide range of fashion and homeware, including clothing for women, men and children, as well as home products.

Country Road Group South Africa country manager Kay Raidoo said the opening has been months in the making, with careful planning behind the modern store design.

“We’re proud to announce our first standalone store in Ballito. A lot of work has gone into bringing this beautiful store to life for our loyal customers,” she said.

The brand, owned by Woolworths Holdings Limited, is originally from Australia, with all products designed there.

The Ballito store becomes the fourth Country Road outlet in KwaZulu-Natal, joining existing stores in Durban and the Midlands.

Nationally, the group operates more than 30 stores.

The new store created around 25 jobs, with all staff recruited locally.

Raidoo said the brand looks forward to building a strong relationship with Ballito residents, highlighting the area’s vibrant and growing market.
