The free event takes place at 2pm at Ekhaya Guest House.
Readers will have the opportunity to meet internationally published crime writer Tony Park when he launches his latest novel, King of Beasts, in Ballito on Saturday, July 25.
The free event takes place at 2pm at Ekhaya Guest House, where the Australian-born author will share stories from his writing career and the adventures that have inspired his books.
Park, who divides his time between Sydney and his home near the Kruger National Park, has written 25 novels, all set in Africa. His latest release, King of Beasts, continues his tradition of fast-paced crime thrillers rooted in the continent’s wildlife and landscapes.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the newly released book, with sales facilitated by Bargain Books, which is partnering with Ekhaya for the event.
The launch forms part of a new series of literary events hosted by Dr Richard Finch at Ekhaya Guest House. Future launches are expected to include Zimbabwean author Sue Nyathi, whose bestselling novel The Polygamist has since been adapted into a Netflix series.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a place, contact Richard Finch on 078 780 0735.
