Five Best of Ballito voters rewarded with incredible prizes
Prize winners announced after record voting this year.
Five lucky Best of Ballito 2026 participants were thrilled to walk away with fantastic prizes after being selected in a random draw last week.
Every person who nominated or voted for a business in this year’s competition was entered into the draw, from which Nicky Farrell, Roshan Ramprsad, Nobuhle Nkosi, Gary Quick and Ayanda Xaba were randomly selected.
Nicky Farrell, who recently relocated to Ballito from Johannesburg, won a two-night stay for two people, including breakfast and a spa treatment, at Sala Beach House worth R30 690. She said she was excited to experience a staycation in her adopted hometown.

Ballito’s Roshan Ramprsad claimed a two-night stay for two people, including breakfast, at Sibaya Lodge in the Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom. A R1 000 dinner voucher for the Royal Court Restaurant was also included, taking the value of his prize to R14 970.
Ballito’s Nobuhle Nkosi won a one-night stay, including breakfast and a couples spa treatment, at Canelands Beach Spa worth R8 980.
Durban’s Gary Quick took home a five-year ceramic coating package, including a three-stage machine polish and headlamp restoration, from MINS Panel Beaters, valued at R6 000.

Ballito’s Ayanda Xaba rounded out the winners. She claimed a comprehensive eye examination and a complete pair of prescription spectacles worth R5 000 from Vision Works Ballito.
All five winners were delighted by the unexpected call from the Courier and thanked the generous sponsors for making the prizes possible.
