A musical environment

Trinityhouse Palm Lakes make their own musical instruments.

Grade three pupils at Trinityhouse Palm Lakes were encouraged last week to use their imaginations and creativity to impressive effect.

The pupils made their own musical instruments using nothing but recyclable materials in a combined lesson in musical creativity and environmental responsibility.

After learning the differences between brass, wind, string, percussion and keyboard instruments, the children showed remarkable ability as they crafted their own masterpieces.

Embracing the drive to recycle and protect the environment through the universal language of music proved to be a day enjoyed by all the children – as shown through their inspired designs.
