Market Day at Harry Bodasing Primary

Soul Buddyz work hard to create some tasty goodies for their market day.

Grade seven pupils and members of the Soul Buddyz of Harry Bodasing Primary School held their annual Entrepreneurs’ Day last Friday, September 11 as part of the grade seven economic and management science syllabus.

The children were split into groups and had their own stores selling cakes, fresh chips, chicken pieces, sweets, desserts, ice-cream, marshmallows covered in chocolate and much more. Some pupils even offered services including a car-wash, removable tattoos, shoe polishing, and face painting.

“The grade sevens were all very excited about their businesses and very enthusiastic to be involved,” said economics teacher Shane Hanuman, who also said that many of the children portrayed excellent business skills which he hopes will someday mold them into great entrepreneurs who can help improve our economy.
