Crawford’s community cherubs

Pupils give a bit of themselves and spend time with Summerhill House kids.

On Monday and Tuesday last week, September 28 and 29, a large group of grade 11 pupils from Crawford North Coast visited Etete to spend some valuable time with those less fortunate.

This initiative was hosted at Summerhill House in the home of founder, Esther Lynn, who is fondly known as ‘Gogo’.

Gogo has a huge heart and welcomed all the surrounding underprivileged children in the area to participate in Crawford’s time of giving. The grade 11 pupils spent time interacting with the children by reading to them, playing board games, doing puzzles, working on computers and face painting, which kept them entertained for hours.
