Useful tips and tricks for landing a job were the order of the day for young job seekers in the KwaDukuza region.
With more than 67 percent of South African youth being unemployed, nonprofit organisation Nation Builders aimed to tackle the issue with a career workshop last Saturday.
Founder of Nation Builders, Michelle Sewraj said the organisation focused on the development and enrichment of youth, women and children. The NGO started in 2015.

“The high unemployment rate among the youth is a huge concern. It is necessary for all citizens to take responsibility to uplift our communities and more initiatives like this need to be organised and supported by our local municipality to ensure that our youth are empowered and ready for work in the marketplace.”
Doing just that, the career workshop that was held at the Ilembe Auditorium and saw experts in various fields provide job seekers with insightful information on different topics regarding employment.
In a matter of hours, young adults walked away with information on winning attitudes, skill gaps in South Africa, CV writing tips, interview tips and lessons on workplace ethics.
