Hundreds of beloved guests were hosted by Umhlali Preparatory on Friday, May 3 as the school celebrated its annual Grandparents’ Day.
The event is a longstanding tradition held to honour the cherished role grandparents play in their grandchildren’s lives.

Each year students invite their grandparents, great grandparents and special guests to a lunch reception held under marquees on the school grounds especially assembled for the day.
The grandparents heard an opening address by principal Mrs Du Plessis followed by a student musical programme and enjoyed classroom visits before going down to the field to enjoy a picnic with their grandchildren.
