Salt Rock and Ballito homeschoolers peacefully held their “there is no planet B” placards as they joined the international Fridays for Future demonstration outside Sasol garage last week.
The weekly, peaceful demonstration was started by 16-year-old Swedish climate activist with Aspergers, Greta Thunberg.
The aim is to encourage the youth to peacefully stand for change in their schools and at the local municipalities in a bid to save the planet for the next generation.
They were met with great support and cheers from the local community and all children are welcome to join next Friday at 6.30am outside Sasol garage.
