Promoting reading and speaking skills

The importance of reading and verbal expression were emphasised.

The KwaDukuza Resource Centre recently held its first read-aloud and public speaking competition in which 54 pupils participated.

The aim of the competition was to raise awareness of the importance of reading and verbal expression.

Sponsors making the initiative possible were Sappi Mill Stanger, Padayachees Book Store, Renugay Optometrist, Flisa Oven, Mozambik restaurant, Fitness Centre, Audioblox and Ostrinex Signs.
