Ashton celebrates art and culture
Whether dancing, painting, decorating cookies or just taking in the wide range of performances from pupils, it had something for everyone.
The return of the Ashton International College Ballito Arts Festival proved hugely popular at the weekend.
A feast of cultural activities welcomed festival attendees at the school grounds on Saturday, where they were able to take in a host of exciting performances and workshops.
Whether dancing, painting, decorating cookies or just taking in the wide range of performances from pupils, it had something for everyone.
To close the day’s activities, a cultural showcase including the Ashton senior choir and individual senior Eisteddfod winners wowed audiences at the school’s Grace Hall.
