Lower Tugela Primary celebrates spring with fancy hat competition

Pupils recited poems, participated in a fancy hat competition, and ended the programme with a spring walk/run.

Lower Tugela Primary School welcomed spring during a special assembly on September 1.

Pupils were given a talk on the importance of the season and encouraged to be responsible individuals taking care of their environment.

They were told they could be compared to seeds which are watered and nurtured by their teachers so they can blossom into beautiful individuals.

They recited poems, participated in a fancy hat competition, and ended the programme with a spring walk/run.
