Ashton well represented at iLembe Country District hockey trials
Dozens of boys and girls from Ashton took part in the iLembe Country District trails in Ballito this past weekend.
Ashton International College Ballito hosted the first round of KZN’s Country Districts hockey trials at the Oxford Oval on Sunday.
Boys and girls from up and down the province participated in the first round of district trials on the North Coast. iLembe Country District trials also took place at Crawford International North Coast College.
Thirty-eight girls and 30 boys from Ashton were selected to represent iLembe at U14, U16 and U18 age groups.
There is another round of trials before players are selected for the provincial teams.
