Letter: Well done, Ashrina!

"Who owns the cars? Who has to fill in what documents, could I retain my historical numbers etc?" - Denny Moffatt

Denny Moffatt of Salt Rock writes:

I had to get advice from the Salt Rock licensing branch, as I needed information on the procedure to follow after my cars were stolen and crashed on the Chaka’s Rock off ramp.

Reported as a robbery to Saps, taken to the Umhlali police station as evidence (where I received good service from a few key people), then recorded as “Recovered” by the Saps, but still as stolen in the records, and written off by an assessor, who represented the insurers.

The cars were then removed from the police yard by the insurers.

Who owns the cars? Who has to fill in what documents, could I retain my historical numbers etc?

Ashrina was a great help.

And went way beyond her call of duty by phoning me the next day with further highly appreciated advice.

I know something of municipal affairs and an official like her deserves acknowledgement.
