#Letter: Final voter registration alert

The power to change the way South Africa works, is in the hands of its active citizens.

Ballito’s ward 22 Clr Tammy Colley writes:

The all-important 2024 elections are approaching fast. The final voter registration weekend is this weekend (February 3 and 4).

People who have not had the opportunity of updating or changing their voter registration details, should head to their voting station with their IDs where Independent Electoral Commission staff will be present to assist.

People will only be able to vote in the area they live in in this year’s elections.

The power to change the way South Africa works, is in the hands of its active citizens.

Please take this opportunity to register. It is the first step towards being able to vote and be vested in the future of our country.

Eligble voters may not be interested in politics, but politics affects every aspect of our lives.
