Tee off with a sporting legend and support the Zimbali Estate Foundation

The foundation's annual golf day returns on March 7 and gives you a chance to rub shoulders with sporting royalty.

Zimbali Estate’s annual fundraising golf day returns next month and offers some fantastic opportunities to meet sports personalities and give back.

Teeing off on March 7, the event gives golfers the chance to add one of a host of recognisable faces to their four ball if they so choose.

Rugby World Cup winner JP Pietersen and African Cup of Nations winner Mark Fish are just two of the headline names.

Who knows, perhaps their inherent desire to win will rub off on your golf game too!

The cost for a three-ball playing with a sport personality is R6 000, while the standard four-ball cost is R7 500.

There are also great options for sponsorship at different levels for your business from R5 000 to R100 000, each of which comes with a series of perks.

For specific fundraising details, contact 082 450 9787 or events@zimbaliestatefoundation.org.

Funds raised from the day will be funnelled back into the daily work the foundation does on the North Coast.

It has a particular focus on helping children through many programmes, from promoting access to golf to feeding and literacy schemes.

In December alone, almost a tonne of food was donated to children who lost their daily meal typically provided by the government school feeding programme which is suspended in school holidays.
