East London’s Nikita Robb is the Ballito Women’s Pro for 2015.
She delivered a strong performance to keep the lead in the final and walk away with R10 000 and 1000 Qualifying Series (QS) points.
Faye Zoetmulder came in second, with Teal Hogg from Umhlanga in third and Heather Clark from Port Shepstone in fourth.
The girls had to deal with some tough conditions as the waves were tricky and they had to negotiate their rides to avoid the rock shelf.
The Ballito Pro Trials delivered some exciting performances from the 32-man field, but it was Brazil’s Robson Santos and Flavio Nakagima who took out the two coveted slots in the main event which starts on Monday.
