A sporting first for Umhlali Prep
Umhlali Prep entered teams in U13A netball, boys tennis and U13A rugby at the St Stithians Prep Schools Sports Festival.
For the first time Umhlali Preparatory School took part in the St Stithians Prep Schools Sports Festival in Sandton from April 4 to 7.
Top schools from across Johannesburg and further afield took part, entering more than 1000 pupils across all the sporting codes.

The festival was a follow on from the high schools festival which took place the weekend before.
The standard of sport on display was high with the festival being the perfect way for the Umhlali teams to prepare for the season ahead.
The teams were all tested playing top schools from around Gauteng and on all accounts our teams held firm and played extremely well.

Netball
- UPS U13A vs St Stithians: Festival UPS won 11-09
- UPS U13A vs Heronbridge U13A: UPS lost 07-10
- UPS U13A vs Montrose U13A: UPS won 13-06
- UPS U13A vs Brescia U13A: UPS lost 08-11
