Enter The North Coast Courier and PrintWild #SnapThatDolphinCoast competition and stand a chance to win incredible prizes!

We are looking for the fun, funky, inspirational and offbeat.

Extra points for photos that evoke emotion or tell a story.

This includes photographs of people, landscapes, animals and action photographs.

In fact the only photos not allowed are sunrises and sunsets (the exception being when a person or animal is the main subject of the photo). Anything else goes as long as it was taken by you, from your phone.

Entries will only be accepted from people living in the newspaper’s distribution area between Umdloti and Mandeni on the North Coast. There is a maximum of one entry per person (enter on Facebook and Instagram to double your chances)

First prize is a Faceblock Wall valued at R3560

An impressive collection of 40 Faceblocks (each wooden photo block measures 15x15cm) is perfect for a large blank wall so you can keep adding to your collection as life happens.

Second prize is a A2 Contemporary Framed photo collage, valued at R2126 (incl design fees).

Fourth prize: 20 Tiny Tots valued at R560. Showcase your Instagram feed by creating a collage of your best social snaps.

How to enter

To enter, follow us and upload your photograph on the competition post on Facebook and/or enter on Instagram with the hashtag #SnapThatDolphinCoast.

Include a caption for the photograph stating where and when it was taken. Entries open on December 3 and close on December 17.

The winners will be announced in The North Coast Courier special edition on December 27.

The top 20 finalists will also be in the running for the Community Choice Prize. Voting will open on December 28 and the winner will be announced on January 4.

We would love to print as many of the best entries as possible so please be prepared to email a high resolution image (at least 500kb) to news@northcoastcourier.co.za if you are selected.

Printwild prizes can be converted to any PrintWild product of the same monetary value.

•  By entering a photo into the competition you are ensuring us that you have permission to use the image.

• The photo must be taken by yourself. The North Coast Courier, PrintWild and other sponsors will not be held liable for copyright infringement.

• Inappropriate entries including obscenity, nudity and other imagery not meeting the judges’ approval will be disqualified.

•  Delivery of PrintWild prizes is included to major centres in South Africa only, delivery to outlying SA areas or international delivery is not included and will be for the winner’s account.

• The Accommodation prize will be delivered in the form of a voucher either by email or handed to the winner at The North Coast Courier offices.

• Photos must be submitted without the addition of watermarks or signatures.

• All photos may be branded with the North Coast Courier and PrintWild logos for the purposes of the competition.

• The entrants give the North Coast Courier and PrintWild permission to publish their photographs free of charge, in print and online.

• The judges’ decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.

• The lucky draw winners will be announced in North Coast Courier and on Facebook, however its is their responsibility to claim their prize within the stipulated time or a new winner will be randomly selected.

• Any suspicious behaviour or cheating will immediately disqualify you and your entry from the competition.

•  Employees of PrintWild and North Coast Courier may not enter the competition.

• Printwild prize vouchers are valid for a year from date of creation, are not transferrable and may not be exchanged for cash.
