What’s happening on the North Coast

From activities fit for the whole family to those you can hit up on your own, the North Coast has it all!

20 July – Open mic night at The Market from 6pm.

22 July – LIV Village Trail Race from 7am at LIV Village Verulam. Trails include 5km, 13km and 19km, tickets from R65 available from kzntrailrunning.co.za/ races/ liv-village-race.

Blood drive at Seatides Combined School from 10am-3pm.

Afritude performs at Eat Street from 6-9pm.

23 July – Quiet Storm performs at Eat Street from 1-4pm.

25 July – Free introduction to infant first aid in conjunction with Medi Response and Ballito Neighbourhood Watch at Fiamma Grill from 8-10am. Topics to be covered include choking, febrile seizures, drowning incidents and introduction to CPR. RSVP at treasurer@ballitonw.org.za.

Minnette’s Art brings you ‘Gin and Canvas’ at Ballito Hills at R375 per person. Includes all painting material, dinner and a glass of gin. Booking essential at 063 203 7943.

28 July – Get your party hat on for a charity Wine & Gin Festival at Umhlali Country Club from 5.30pm. Sponsored by Mama G’s, all proceeds will go to Ballito Lions Club. Live music and lots of fun. Tickets at www.quicket.co.za.

2 August – Umhlali and District Garden and Flower Club meeting at the garden of Paul Shepherd and Gabriel Delport in Upper Tongaat. Take your own folding chair and wear hats. Visitors welcome at R50. For directions or information contact 083 357 1651 or 032 940 5255.
