New exhibition at The Gallery showcases diverse perspectives

The exhibitors have been specifically chosen for how their unique approaches challenge conventional norms.

The year’s first exhibition at The Gallery at the Lifestyle Centre, titled ‘Perspective’, aims to create a conversation about how art can be interpreted.

It launched alongside First Thursdays at the centre on Thursday with wine tasting, snacks and live music.

Among the new exhibitors are John Roome, Petra Gevers, Karen Stegen and Ann Marie Tully, who join a list of regular artists on the show.

The exhibitors have been specifically chosen for their unique approaches to the craft and work that highlight personal narratives and challenge conventional norms.

“We wanted to create an exhibition that celebrates the beauty of individuality and showcases the diverse perspectives that artists bring to the table,” said curator, Sarah O’Reilly.

Michelle Kruger’s ‘Miyoshi’ was made using Lego.

“Art has the power to challenge our preconceived notions and open our minds to new ways of seeing the world. This exhibition is a testament to the boundless creativity that exists within the art community.”

The Gallery is open daily between 9am-5pm. Find it on socials @thegallerylifestyle for more information.

The ‘Perspective’ exhibition will run until March 25.
