Yet another incident of rock throwing

Lucky escape for motorist after a fourth rock throwing incident in the space of a month.

FOLLOWING three rock throwing incidents from the Blackburn Bridge, the M4 (the Ellis Brown Viaduct) and the Millennium Bridge, another motorist was lucky to escape serious injury after he was a target of a rock-throwing incident, this time near the N2/M19 interchange.

According to Lt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the station, the motorist spotted an object flying toward his car. “His side window and the hood of his car was damaged. The most important thing is not to stop and to drive to the nearest police station,” he said.

He warned drivers to be vigilant when driving near bridges and to be cautious of suspicious pedestrians.
