To Tweet or not to Tweet
Seven annoying things people tweet. Are you guilty of one of these offences?

TWITTER has become an increasingly popular social media platform. The riveting application is not only a great source of information and entertainment, but is also an ideal platform that can be used to connect with interesting and like minded individuals. That being said, it can also be a source of vast annoyance. We have all either been subjected to the annoying habits or have been guilty of one or several annoying Twitter ‘crimes’. Below is a list of some of the biggest offences.
1. Most people would agree that #FollowBack tweets are incredibly frustrating. There is nothing worse that logging onto twitter and facing a timeline littered with random people’s twitter handles. It is a huge waste of time and could prevent me from seeing other interesting tweets that could actually be of use. If you are eager to get followers tweet something interesting.
2. People who use twitter as a means of stalking, harassing or sucking up to celebrities. There is nothing wrong with following you favourite celebrities and occasionally tweeting them. But, it becomes a problem when your whole timeline consist of tweets to or about one or several celebrities. Even worse is when you twitter handle and avatar is dedicated to that celebrity. Where is the individuality? It just screams desperation. Tweeps who spend their time insulting celebrities are also very annoying and pathetic. Do you seriously have nothing better to do?
3. The abuse hash tags is another popular pet peeve. Hash tags are great for connecting people to a single topic, but it is annoying when people use hash tags in every single tweet, or who use mundane hash tags, such as #JustSaying, #SMH, #Epic or #Live. Using more than three words in a hash tag is also #VeryFustratingAndHardToRead. It is the perfect way to broadcast to others that you are technologically illiterate.
4. It is also annoying, and not to mention a bit senseless, to simply retweet other people’s tweets. It tells others that you are uninteresting and not worth following. There is nothing wrong with sharing a tweet that you find funny or interesting, but try to express you own opinions and share your own experiences.
5. With that in mind, it is also incredibly annoying when people tweet about their mundane activities. Tweeps don’t want to read about the fact that you are having an afternoon nap, working out or spending time with your #BFF. It is also not the platform to share your undying love for your boyfriend or pictures of your lunch. Reserve that stuff for Facebook account.
6. Finally, Twitter trolls are also intensely annoying on all social media platforms. While you might find it fun to ease you boredom by insulting and picking fights, it is not fun to read or bear the grunt of these tweets. Cyber trolling can have serious repercussions.
7. It is also annoying to see a spam of replies on one’s timeline. Tweeps don’t care about your conversations and twitter wars. If you want to argue or have conversations send the people personal messages.
